Happy Fri-yay! I hope you all stay warm during the cooler temperatures forecasted! We will also be able to enjoy an extra hour of sleep (or reading) this weekend. 😊

Please take a look at our EBSCO subscription database, NoveList K-8 Plus, as a reader's advisory tool. This can be found on the “Resources” tab under “Digital Resources” I am encouraging the students to always have a "Good Fit" book in their hands and another one in the "pipeline." Please check in with your child about the "Good Fit" book they are reading and the other one they are ready to dive into! Don't forget about Sora (our eBook and audiobook platform) and the amazing Bedford Public Library as well! Our school community is so fortunate to have many print and online resources to make literacy an important part of our lives.

Congratulations to our 1st Search Slip winner of the year! 5th grader, Darius Brown, along with MANY others, entered our monthly library raffle by filling out a Search Slip with information regarding the book they are looking for in the McKelvie Library. Each month all of the Search Slips are collected and one winner is drawn from all of the entries for the month.
