This past week has been hopping in the McKelvie Library! We have actively started talking about summer reading and its importance. The classes that have come to the library to be shown the "Summer Reading" page found on the McKelvie Library website under the "Resources" tab have also been working on their TBR (to be read) list. This list contains books that your child would like to possibly read during the summer break. Be on the lookout for this list! Click HERE to see the page containing a note about summer reading as well as resources that will help with their summer reading adventures! There are no mandatory reads for McKelvie Intermediate School students, but it is important to keep up their stamina and read or listen to what they 💙💛!
This is an additional gentle reminder that all library books and textbooks are due back to the library on Friday, June 4th. Most homerooms are scheduled to come to the library with their teacher on June 3rd or 4th. There are two homerooms coming on Monday, June 7th. Remote students will return their textbooks and library books when Chromebooks and chargers are collected. The dates and times for the remote collections on the Country Road side of the school under the canopy will be:
